CAMP TAYLOR FIRE DEPARTMENT - SEEKING VOLUNTEERS
The Camp Taylor Fire Department relies heavily on volunteer
firefighters for the second trucks. These men and women come from all walks of life, but all have one thing in common
- at a moments notice, they put their lives on the line for their community. Members include engineers, mechanics, painters,
plumbers, police officers, and students. If you have the desire to serve your community and you meet the requirements,
go to www.camptaylorfire.org, complete the form on the "Contact Us" page, and someone from the Recruitment Team will contact you.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME A CAMP TAYLOR FIREFIGHTER
You must be 18 years of age and
possess a valid Kentucky driver’s license. You must live within the basic area of the
District . You must have a good legal standing. You must
be in good physical condition.
PET OWNERS' RESPONSIBILITIES
When you walk your pet(s) in the City, PLEASE pick up after them. There have been numerous complaints about excrement
in neighbors' front lawns.
Excessive exrecment in Village Green Park makes it difficult for
residents, families, children, and others to use the Park for its intended purposes. The City has installed a DogiPot
station at the north entrrance to the Park. The station is equipped with bags and a depository for dog
poop.
Not only is your assistance in cleaning up after your pet appreciated, it's the law.
NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK WATCH
Parkway
Village's Block Watch program has been implemented. Many Block Watch Captains have distributed contact information
to their neighbors in an effort to improve communication, safety and security between our residents, the Board
of Commissioners, and Audubon Park Police. Visit the 'Contact Us' website page and send us an e-mail if
you are interested in becoming a Block Watch Captain or to request additional information. Block watch captain
information is also available on the new BLOCK WATCH page of our website.
